Fewer routes, all real
Most route planners show you everything, and half of it is wrong: estimated prices, phantom connections, fares that jump at checkout. Routavio does the opposite. Every route we show is feasibility-verified and freshness-stamped, and a live or cached fare says so on the row.
Live prices
Every fare is fetched per search. A live or cached fare is labelled as such, with the time we last checked it. For live fares, the price you see is the price you book; anything else is confirmed at checkout.
Feasibility verified
A physics gate and realistic connection times mean we never show a phantom train or an impossible transfer. Every route we list is actually travelable.
Freshness stamped
Cached data expires on a strict ceiling, and circuit breakers fall back gracefully when a source is down. You always see how fresh a result is; we never show stale data without saying so.
Honest handoff
We compare; you book directly with the airline, rail or bus provider. No hidden fees, no markup, and we tell you when a flight is two separate tickets.
Narrow but right beats broad but wrong.
